Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Under the Arch) by Abdur Rahman Chughtai was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,299.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Abdur Rahman Chughtai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Krishna Instructing Arjuna in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 215,945.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Under the Arch) von Abdur Rahman Chughtai kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.299,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Abdur Rahman Chughtai erzielen.
