Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La fantasia by Abdelmajid Sabri was sold in the A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of MAD 29,900.00 (€ 2,615.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of MAD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abdelmajid Sabri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre -, which sold at auction in December 2021 for MAD 91,000.00 (€ 8,603.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La fantasia von Abdelmajid Sabri wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion A Moroccan Winter Majorelle & his contemporaries Modern & Contemporary Moroccan and International Art bei Artcurial in Marrakesch versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von MAD 29.900,00 (€ 2.615,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von MAD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Abdelmajid Sabri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre - beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für MAD 91.000,00 (€ 8.603,11) versteigert wurde.
