A top price for Abdel Wahab Morsi - as previously expected
The work Egyptianuntitled by Abdel Wahab Morsi was sold in the 20th Century Art/ Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2016. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,266.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Egyptianuntitled is the most expensive artwork by Abdel Wahab Morsi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.266,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
