Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dreaming of Napoleon and Nietzsche by Aat Verhoog was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 836.50 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Aat Verhoog have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2001 the work Omzien Te Paard was auctioned for NLG 1,762.50 (€ 847.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dreaming of Napoleon and Nietzsche von Aat Verhoog kam im Juni 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 836,50 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Aat Verhoog konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2001 die Arbeit Omzien Te Paard für NLG 1.762,50 (€ 847,14) versteigert.
