Despite a disappointment, a good price for Aarre Aaltonen
When the work Mother And Child. by Aarre Aaltonen was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in December 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 600.00. Despite this disappointing result, Mother And Child. is the most expensive artwork by Aarre Aaltonen that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Mother And Child. von Aarre Aaltonen im Dezember 2018 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
