Despite a disappointment, a good price for Aamir Khatri

In May last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Aamir Khatri for GBP 573.75 (€ 674.96). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art for a Pakistani Charity, the Welfare Society for Patient Care at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Aamir Khatri that we have observed at auction so far.

Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Aamir Khatri

Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aamir Khatri für GBP 573,75 (€ 674,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art for a Pakistani Charity, the Welfare Society for Patient Care bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Aamir Khatri, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
