Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2001 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH & CONTINENTAL PICTURES, which included the work A toast by Stephan Sedlacek. The price achieved of GBP 940.00 (€ 1,500.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Stephan Sedlacek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harlem interior with dancing women in August 2010 with an auction result of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,943.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH & CONTINENTAL PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A toast von Stephan Sedlacek zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 940,00 (€ 1.500,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stephan Sedlacek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Harlem interior with dancing women im August 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.943,09).
