Maja Weller lives and works in a suburb of Hamburg, Germany.
The self-taught artist, who was born in 1969, has been passionate about painting and drawing since her childhood. Unfortunately, her scientific university studies and professional career pushed it to the background. It was not until many years later that she rediscovered her passion in the visual arts.
