Artist Statement
no medium is as ambivalent, complex, unpredictable and at the same time as formative as art:
the manipulability of man through images in the broadest sense is limitless, as hyper-complex carriers of memories, events, meanings.
cultures of the past can often only be experienced by us through their artefacts, art products form the densest compressed encodings, dna-like. processes of ciphering contents in space have activated me from the beginning to act in this medium.
the seemingly unlimited mutability and creativity of art and at the same time the opposing encrustation of human space by what has been defended over time forms the contradiction in what for me is an identical space for art and life.
we know that life exists without security in space.
the exploration and transportation of depth, humanity and interconnections in art are existential.
