As an artist, I have always been driven by the need to use my perception and skills to make something of emotional significance tangible for other people.
I therefore try to be a service provider for society through my work by picking up on certain daily influences that I perceive in it and processing them into paintings.

My current focus is mostly the human figure. My motifs are influenced by random everyday scenes, always inspired by a clearly perciptible need.
The melancholy of the old Impressionists has always touched me on my path and given me an anchor. Their rapid painting  style has had a strong influence on me, both in terms of content and technique.

Painting has therefore become a flowing process for me, in which I try to be as
honest as possible and allow for mistakes. Giving an authentic insight into my artistic
work is always more important to me than my own perfectionism.

Working in series allows me to capture and process a certain point in myself- reflection as a chapter. The work on my current „EnjoyTheWhite" series is strongly influenced by a personal examination of my own masculinity and growing up in a patriarchal society. By technically integrating negative spaces, I try to focus on the most relevant content of the works and thus give viewers more
space for their own interpretation and reflection.
