Frauke Petersen works with photography and sand. 

In a special procedure, photography and sand are combined in such a way that flat reliefs are created, which raise questions in the viewer about the habits of perception and the objectivity of seeing.

Through different angles of view and changing light, the images are set in motion and can be perceived again and again in new ways.
