Warum Kunst. Why art.

1980 bin ich elf Jahre alt. Meine Familie zieht von der polnischen Ostseeküste nach Stuttgart. Aus der modernen Hafenstadt Gdynia ins beschauliche Schwaben. Hier mache ich Abitur. Ich studiere Mathematik und technische Betriebswirtschaft. Objektive Ordnung und rationale Systeme. Die Ästhetik der Geometrie und die Eleganz einer gelösten Gleichung.

Ich arbeite. In der Automobilwirtschaft, Bauwirtschaft, Immobilienwirtschaft. 2004 mache ich mich selbständig. Ich brauche Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten. Spielräume.
Die finde ich in der Kunst. Kunst macht Gedanken plastisch. Ich lerne. Seit 2015 an der Freien Kunstakademie Gerlingen, seit 2017 an der Freien Kunstschule Stuttgart.
Malerei und Plastik. Ohne eine Grenze dazwischen. Kunst sprengt Grenzen.

In 1980, I am eleven years old. My family moves from the Polish Baltic coast to Stuttgart. From the modern port city of Gdynia to the peaceful Swabian region. Here, I complete my high school education. I study mathematics and technical business administration. Objective order and rational systems. The aesthetics of geometry and the elegance of a solved equation.

I work. In the automotive industry, construction industry, and real estate industry. In 2004, I become self-employed. I need opportunities for creative expression. Room for maneuver. I find these in art. Art makes thoughts tangible. I learn. Since 2015 at the Freie Kunstakademie Gerlingen and since 2017 at the Freie Kunstschule Stuttgart. Painting and sculpture. Without a boundary in between.
