PAINTINGS
The content of my paintings, through the synthesis of forms and shapes, aims to convey universal messages. To guide understanding, I always assign titles to my works. I treat each painting as a short story, or sometimes a poem. By embracing understatement, I leave room for personal interpretation.
In my paintings, color is the most important element of the composition, holding symbolic meaning that can shift depending on the painting's narrative. The value of colour in my work comes from its temperature, brightness, and weight. It is a fundamental basis for ongoing analysis and study, as well as discovering its role in combination with other colours. As a tool, colour also determines the sense of flatness or depth on the canvas, as well as the presence of light.
DRAWINGS
To me, drawing is an exploration of forms and shapes, examining three-dimensionality, light, and a variety of textures. I typically use achromatic colours, occasionally adding a single colour with symbolic significance. In my drawings, I aim for precision and mathematical accuracy in craftsmanship, while the content, like my paintings, is open to individual interpretation.
CONCLUSIONS
Despite that my work, whether it’s a drawing or a painting, is a "novella" with one title, I like to combine my paintings into series and my drawings into diptychs or triptychs.
The themes in my work, including both paintings and drawings, revolve around the human condition and existence, while also showcasing the beauty of Earth. I focus on aesthetic principles to emphasize humanitarian values.
My creative work aims to educate sensitive audiences about goodness and beauty, with a strong emphasis on fostering respect for nature, oneself, and other human being.
