About - Vita

As an architect in the diocese of Limburg, my main job is to maintain valuable listed buildings, such as Limburg Cathedral.

Music and art are also my great source of inspiration and strength.

As a musician and pianist, i have been playing in various soul, funk and jazzbands since my early youth.

While studying architecture at the Technical University in Darmstadt, i came into contact with inspiring teachers and professors who directed my focus not only on architecture, building and art history, but also on drawing, design and painting.

I draw inspiration for my works from these sources.

I am happy to use all means and media - whether figurative or abstract. Architecture, music and landscapes are themes in my paintings and drawings. Colorful or monochrome, restrained or expressive, the pictures have one thing in common:

An exuberant desire for expression that wants to exceed the limits of perception.
