Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session), which included the work Mirror by Zenzaburo Kojima. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 725,000.00 (€ 82,976.05). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zenzaburo Kojima - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Background (Nude), which sold at auction in May this year for HKD 2,142,000.00 (€ 256,742.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mirror von Zenzaburo Kojima zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 725.000,00 (€ 82.976,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Zenzaburo Kojima mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Background (Nude) beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für HKD 2.142.000,00 (€ 256.742,44) versteigert wurde.
