Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work FIELD POPPIES by Zenzaburo Kojima. The price achieved of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,742.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 450,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zenzaburo Kojima have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Background (Nude) in May this year with an auction result of HKD 2,142,000.00 (€ 256,742.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit FIELD POPPIES von Zenzaburo Kojima zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.742,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 350.000,00 – 450.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zenzaburo Kojima auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Background (Nude) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.142.000,00 (€ 256.742,44).
