The work Dahlias by Zenzaburo Kojima was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 57,790.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Zenzaburo Kojima have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Background (Nude) in May this year with an auction result of HKD 2,142,000.00 (€ 256,742.44).

Die Arbeit Dahlias von Zenzaburo Kojima kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 57.790,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zenzaburo Kojima auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Background (Nude) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.142.000,00 (€ 256.742,44).
