This artwork by Zeng Fanzhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. In the ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART auction, the work The Last Supper & Class One Series No. 22 sold for HKD 264,000.00 (€ 28,885.50) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zeng Fanzhi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Last Supper in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 180,440,000.00 (€ 17,122,818.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zeng Fanzhi erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART wurde die Arbeit The Last Supper & Class One Series No. 22 für HKD 264.000,00 (€ 28.885,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zeng Fanzhi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Last Supper im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 180.440.000,00 (€ 17.122.818,89).
