Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers and Insects, 1948 by Yu Fei'An was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,000.00 (€ 30,234.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yu Fei'An achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paradise Flycatchers By Magnolia in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 15,720,000.00 (€ 1,770,095.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers and Insects, 1948 von Yu Fei'An kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.000,00 (€ 30.234,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yu Fei'An erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paradise Flycatchers By Magnolia im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 15.720.000,00 (€ 1.770.095,31).
