Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction The Greek Sale, which included the work Paysage d'autumne/ Ruisseau à Patissia by Yiannis Spyropoulos. The price achieved of EUR 5,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yiannis Spyropoulos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vuraicos in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 240,000.00 (€ 353,176.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion The Greek Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage d'autumne/ Ruisseau à Patissia von Yiannis Spyropoulos zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yiannis Spyropoulos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vuraicos im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 240.000,00 (€ 353.176,24).
