The work INTENTION B by Yiannis Spyropoulos was sold in the The Greek Sale auction at Bonhams in Paris in November this year. It achieved a price of EUR 14,080.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yiannis Spyropoulos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vuraicos in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 240,000.00 (€ 353,176.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit INTENTION B von Yiannis Spyropoulos wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Greek Sale bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 14.080,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yiannis Spyropoulos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vuraicos im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 240.000,00 (€ 353.176,24).
