Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Amphiliki by Yiannis Spyropoulos was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. The price achieved of EUR 10,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yiannis Spyropoulos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vuraicos in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 240,000.00 (€ 353,176.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Amphiliki von Yiannis Spyropoulos kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yiannis Spyropoulos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vuraicos im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 240.000,00 (€ 353.176,24).
