A top price for Yang Shanshen
The work The Chinese Zodiac by Yang Shanshen was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 4,220,000.00 (€ 418,431.98). With this result, The Chinese Zodiac is even the most expensive work of art by Yang Shanshen that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Chinese Zodiac von Yang Shanshen wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 4.220.000,00 (€ 418.431,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Chinese Zodiac sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Yang Shanshen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
