The work Returning from Herding by Yang Jin was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 212,500.00 (€ 20,097.14), 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Zhang Yiniang in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 482,500.00 (€ 358,762.73).

Die Arbeit Returning from Herding von Yang Jin wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 212.500,00 (€ 20.097,14) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of Zhang Yiniang im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 482.500,00 (€ 358.762,73).
