Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Yang Fan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 9,600.00 (€ 7,178.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Fan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Enlightment in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 828,000.00 (€ 77,009.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Yang Fan kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.600,00 (€ 7.178,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Fan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Enlightment im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 828.000,00 (€ 77.009,37).
