Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scene of the Windows by Xiao Rusong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2003. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 573,600.00 (€ 63,590.59). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Rusong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life by The Window, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scene of the Windows von Xiao Rusong kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 573.600,00 (€ 63.590,59) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life by The Window beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94) versteigert wurde.
