Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by River by Xiao Rusong was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. The price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 11,958.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Rusong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life by The Window in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 1,375,000.00 (€ 150,224.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape by River von Xiao Rusong wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 11.958,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Rusong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life by The Window im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.375.000,00 (€ 150.224,94).
