The work Li Bai’s Poetic Sendtiments by Wu Hufan was worth HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 138,506.60) to a buyer in December this year. This price was achieved in the auction Cultured Legacy: Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from the Chang Shiu Sig and Tung Shui Wah Collection at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Hufan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verdant Mountains In Morning Mist in October 2018 with an auction result of HKD 15,720,000.00 (€ 1,770,095.31).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Li Bai’s Poetic Sendtiments von Wu Hufan war einem Käufer im Dezember diesen Jahres HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 138.506,60) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Cultured Legacy: Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from the Chang Shiu Sig and Tung Shui Wah Collection bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Hufan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verdant Mountains In Morning Mist im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 15.720.000,00 (€ 1.770.095,31).
