Auction result fails to reach estimate
In August this year a collector was able to acquire the work “Vesterhavet” by Wolmer Zier for DKK 5,000.00 (€ 670.73). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Wolmer Zier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenery from the North Sea in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,800.00 (€ 3,321.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im August diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Vesterhavet” von Wolmer Zier für DKK 5.000,00 (€ 670,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wolmer Zier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenery from the North Sea im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.800,00 (€ 3.321,10).
