Auction result fails to reach estimate
When the work Coastal scenery from Løkken by Wolmer Zier was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in February this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously set the estimate at DKK 3,000.00, but this failed to be met - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wolmer Zier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scenery from the North Sea in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,800.00 (€ 3,321.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Als die Arbeit Coastal scenery from Løkken von Wolmer Zier im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit DKK 3.000,00 angegeben, den dieses Werk bei seiner Versteigerung leider nicht erreichen konnte - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,47) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wolmer Zier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scenery from the North Sea im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.800,00 (€ 3.321,10).
