It achieved a price of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,424.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Gear achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer afternoon in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 28,199.75).
