In October 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work British Where Are You Going To, My Pretty Maid? by William A. Breakspeare. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,274.64) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William A. Breakspeare achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Good Bowl Of Punch in June 2010 with an auction result of USD 26,250.00 (€ 21,357.09).

Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit British Where Are You Going To, My Pretty Maid? von William A. Breakspeare zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.274,64) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
