Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch winter Street Scene, Oudewater by Willem Koekkoek was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2016. It changed hands for a price of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 65,765.38) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willem Koekkoek - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch winter In The Streets Of A Dutch Town, which sold at auction in June 2011 for EUR 228,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch winter Street Scene, Oudewater von Willem Koekkoek kam im Dezember 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 65.765,38) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Willem Koekkoek mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch winter In The Streets Of A Dutch Town beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für EUR 228.750,00 versteigert wurde.
