Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work A Sunny Street With A Distant Church Tower by Willem Koekkoek for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 30,193.17). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Willem Koekkoek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch winter In The Streets Of A Dutch Town in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 228,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A Sunny Street With A Distant Church Tower von Willem Koekkoek für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 30.193,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00.
