The work An Italian woman with her small child by Wilhelm Nicolai Marstrand was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year. It achieved a price of DKK 12,000.00 (€ 1,609.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Wilhelm Nicolai Marstrand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Fra Venedig Aften” in March this year with an auction result of DKK 70,000.00 (€ 9,393.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An Italian woman with her small child von Wilhelm Nicolai Marstrand wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 12.000,00 (€ 1.609,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Nicolai Marstrand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Fra Venedig Aften” im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 70.000,00 (€ 9.393,86).
