This artwork by Wang Zhen achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Album Of Paintings And Calligraphy sold for HKD 300,000.00 (€ 36,279.33) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Zhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Virtues Of Happiness in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 4,735,000.00 (€ 518,782.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Zhen erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Album Of Paintings And Calligraphy für HKD 300.000,00 (€ 36.279,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Zhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Virtues Of Happiness im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.735.000,00 (€ 518.782,91).
