A top price for Vladimir Yakovlev - as previously expected
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Art and Paintings, which included this untitled work by Vladimir Yakovlev. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 16,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,100.00 (€ 22,544.17) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Vladimir Yakovlev that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Art and Paintings durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Vladimir Yakovlev zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 16.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.100,00 (€ 22.544,17) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Vladimir Yakovlev, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
