Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2018. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Windy Day, Yaroslavl sold for GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,118.78) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Passing Of The First Motorship in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 410,500.00 (€ 512,900.11).
