Auction result well in line with expectations
The work By The Well, Vazhgort by Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,555.96) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Passing Of The First Motorship in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 410,500.00 (€ 512,900.11).
