Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Banya On The River Unzha by Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 24,016.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Passing Of The First Motorship in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 410,500.00 (€ 512,900.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Banya On The River Unzha von Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 24.016,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Passing Of The First Motorship im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 410.500,00 (€ 512.900,11).
