The work Artistic License by Vida Gábor was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2004. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,560.00 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vida Gábor - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Apothecary, which sold at auction in January 2014 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 27,416.67).

Die Arbeit Artistic License von Vida Gábor wurde im April 2004 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.560,00 und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Vida Gábor mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Apothecary beobachtet, die im Januar 2014 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 27.416,67) versteigert wurde.
