Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Westerholm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Evening Sun". in December 2010 with an auction result of EUR 62,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vinter Scene From Åland Islands. von Victor Westerholm wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Helsinki F163 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.800,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Westerholm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Evening Sun". im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 62.000,00.
