Auction result well in line with expectations

In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction Victor Vasarely: Prints & Multiples, which included the work Domb-B by Victor Vasarely. The price achieved of GBP 576.00 (€ 855.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Vasarely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Victor Vasarely: Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Domb-B von Victor Vasarely zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 576,00 (€ 855,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Altaï Iii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93).
