This artwork by Vicente Silva Manansala achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction, the work Still Life sold for HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 93,006.49) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vicente Silva Manansala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiangge (Market Scene) in November this year with an auction result of HKD 8,190,000.00 (€ 961,056.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vicente Silva Manansala erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings wurde die Arbeit Still Life für HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 93.006,49) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vicente Silva Manansala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiangge (Market Scene) im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.190.000,00 (€ 961.056,11).
