It achieved a price of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 64,308.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vicente Silva Manansala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tiangge (Market Scene) in November this year with an auction result of HKD 8,190,000.00 (€ 961,056.11).

Die Arbeit Market Vendors von Vicente Silva Manansala kam im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 64.308,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vicente Silva Manansala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tiangge (Market Scene) im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.190.000,00 (€ 961.056,11).
