Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Lakeview From Mankala. by Väinö Hämäläinen for EUR 1,100.00. This price was achieved in the auction International Spring Sale, Helsinki F159 at Bukowski in Helsinki and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Väinö Hämäläinen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lake Landscape. in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 5,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lakeview From Mankala. von Väinö Hämäläinen für EUR 1.100,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion International Spring Sale, Helsinki F159 bei Bukowski in Helsinki erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Väinö Hämäläinen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lake Landscape. im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.400,00.
