Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Omaggio al movimento studentesco by Turi Simeti was sold in the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 16,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Turi Simeti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bianco in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 194,500.00 (€ 248,348.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Omaggio al movimento studentesco von Turi Simeti wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 16.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Turi Simeti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bianco im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 194.500,00 (€ 248.348,40).
