This artwork by Turi Simeti achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in May last year. In the Arte moderna e contemporanea auction, the work 5 ovali blu sold for EUR 16,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Turi Simeti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bianco in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 194,500.00 (€ 248,348.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 78 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Turi Simeti erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea wurde die Arbeit 5 ovali blu für EUR 16.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Turi Simeti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bianco im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 194.500,00 (€ 248.348,40).
