In August this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Modern art and design, which included this untitled work by Tróndur Patursson. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 6,000.00 (€ 804.87), 20% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Tróndur Patursson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Installation in March this year with an auction result of DKK 32,000.00 (€ 4,294.33).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Modern art and design durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tróndur Patursson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 6.000,00 (€ 804,87) und damit 20% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tróndur Patursson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Installation im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 32.000,00 (€ 4.294,33).
