The work Nude by Tran Luu Hau was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October this year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 166,400.00 (€ 20,122.94), 66% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tran Luu Hau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hanoi Trees in October this year with an auction result of HKD 702,500.00 (€ 84,954.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 66 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nude von Tran Luu Hau wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 166.400,00 (€ 20.122,94) und damit 66% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tran Luu Hau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hanoi Trees im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 702.500,00 (€ 84.954,11).
